The Army Aviation Quality Control Specialist (AH-64E/UH-60M QC Specialist) PMO level, contributes input towards the development and implementation of a quality control, ground safety and environmental program to ensure compliance with contract specifications. Develops, tests, maintains and delivers training programs and related materials in support of the Saudi RSLFAC command.
Seven (7) years of aircraft maintenance experience on the UH-60M/AH-64E is required. Ten (10) years' experience on the aircraft is preferred.
US Citizenship is required to obtain a Security Clearance and base access.
Valid US Passport is Required.
Establishes and/or reviews course content and objectives and determines appropriate instructional method.
Evaluates effectiveness of training activities.
Performs oversight and guidance to contractor personnel performing maintenance support actions for the RSLFAC.
Monitors daily site-deployed contractor personnel to ensure compliance IAW with customers ground and flight operating procedures.
Assist contract personnel and approved government personnel in resolving problems.
Provides lower-level technicians guidance regarding established procedures according to directives, quality procedures, work standards and operational policies.
Inspects and verifies proper completion and documentation of quality discrepancies.
Must be able to lead small groups independently and provide oversite updates to the program and government leadership.
Perform other qualified duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
High school Diploma or Equivalent is the minimum education Required.
Seven (7) years of aircraft maintenance experience on the UH-60M and/or AH-64E is required. Ten (10) years' experience on the aircraft is preferred.
Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance and operations experience is Required, with a minimum of Three (3) years’ experience in a QA/QC Quality Control related position. *(QA/QC Quality Control related experience with a higher degree - Four (4) years of relevant experience required with associate’s degree; Two years of relevant experience is acceptable with bachelor’s degree.
Completion of the "US Army's" 15-series career management field Advanced Leadership Course AMOC (formerly BNCOC) is Preferred OR must possess a Valid (FAA) A&P Certificate.
AS-9100 QMS Aerospace Standard quality program implementation and management experience desired.
Broad working knowledge of aircraft maintenance, quality control techniques and standards, FAA regulations, and US Army technical publications.
Exceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, and personnel management skills are required.
Avalid US Passport is Required for travel to Saudi.
Must be able to pass the Saudi (Igama) Visa Medical requirements for deployment.
Valid Driver’s License is required.
