Description:Performs necessary tasks to ensure all materials are received and outside processing is completed so job meets the contracted delivery schedule. Receive and unload incoming shipments, stock, disburse, and record inventory, prepare items for shipment, and build shipping crates.
1. Expedites all steps required for receipt of material, outside processing, tooling, fabrication, and assembly of parts.
2. Provides status to Supervisor of Production Control. Investigates delays, causes, and shortages to alleviate delivery delays.
3. Inputs stock transfers.
4. Oversees shipment of items to customer or OSP vendor.
5. Receives and unloads incoming material.
6. Stocks inventory and makes necessary disbursements.
7. Provides for proper storage of material and parts.
8. Moves parts on the shop floor to support production.
9. Prepares items for shipment. Wraps, bags, and/or boxes items.
10. Completes inventory procedures. Uses computer to document receipts, disbursements, movements, and shipments.
Basic Qualifications:Education / Training: Two or more years experience in production control activities such as inventory control and material expediting.
General production knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
Basic carpentry skills and experience using power wood working tools.
Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
Desired Skills:Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to operate various types of material moving equipment.
Ability to obtain fork lift operator’s permit.
Ability to obtain PA DOT Medical Certification Card required for operation of Company truck.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
