Capability Unit
Metrea Algorithmics (MAX) provides unique engineering services, cloud-based cyber operations infrastructure, advanced tactics, techniques and procedures training, and a full suite of wireless communications survey and reconnaissance sensors that enable real-time multi-domain awareness while enhancing command and control.
Position Summary
The Director of Customer Engagement and Technical Enablement will work with our satellite monitoring and intercept platform. This individual will play a critical role in bridging the gap between field operations, customer requirements, and our engineering teams. This position requires a deep understanding of tactical satellite communications, strong customer interfacing skills, and the ability to lead structured training and enablement efforts across a global user base.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical interface for existing and prospective customers, translating operational needs into actionable engineering requirements.
- Lead the customer training program, including curriculum development, on-site training, and post-deployment support.
- Provide direct input to product management and engineering teams to guide feature development and roadmap decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support system deployment, configuration, and sustainment.
- Represent the product in field evaluations, customer briefings, and DoD/IC integration exercises.
- Help shape future enhancements based on feedback from operational users, especially in the IC and Special Operations community.
- Support proposals, demonstrations, and technical responses related to new opportunities.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (technical or business discipline preferred)
- 20+ years experience in tactical satellite communications, ISR systems, or related DoD technology fields
- Proven ability to interface with Special Operations and Intelligence Community users
- Strong systems engineering or program management experience with deployable SATCOM systems
- Deep familiarity with Ku, C, L, and Ka-band SATCOM systems; understanding of VHF/UHF radio systems
- Demonstrated experience translating customer needs into engineering deliverables
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Experience with DoD acquisition programs, CRADAs, or field test campaigns
- Willingness to travel for training, field support, and customer engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in leading customer-facing teams or training programs
• Past experience as a Field Service Representative (FSR) or technical liaison for DoD users
• Familiarity with modern BLOS communications, GSE-based SATCOM intercept systems, and secure network protocols
• Experience supporting product development or R&D in a rapidly evolving environment

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
